Eliminate the risk of spreading harmful bacteria and microorganisms in an occupied room!
Finally, a safe and efficient way to sanitize and disinfect the air in high-traffic occupied areas.
GermAwayUV and CureUV.com are proud to bring to the market the High Occupancy Wall Mountable Air Purifier and Sanitizer! The name is quite a mouthful but the product's use is actually quite simple. Simply mount the sanitizer on the wall as you would hang a TV, or mount a standalone AC system and let the system do its magic. The air purifier will use its powerful yet quiet fan to continually cycle all of the air in the room through the system. Once the air goes through the system it will be met by a quintuple filtration and sanitation system that culminates in a full 120 watts (depending on configuration) UV-C germicidal irradiation. Put this system in a busy hallway, a crowded restaurant, a veterinary clinic with high traffic, a busy office, etc... and it will eliminate bacteria, viruses, and harmful pollutants as quickly as possible without exposing anybody to any UV-C rays. Optimum performance with optimum safety.
Here is how the GermAwayUV High Occupancy Wall Mountable Heavy Duty Air Purifier works:
The first component of this system is the powerful yet quiet fan. It is able to provide airflow through the system at 600 cubic feet per minute yet keep its noise under 50 decibels.
The fan draws the air in the room to the system, the first components met are the pre-filters. Although most things that can harm us in the air are microscopic, a dirty or heavily polluted room often has even some macroscopic molecules or dust particles. The pre-filters trap these and take them out of the airflow.
After the pre-filter, the air is taken through to an activated carbon filter. This filter is specially formulated to tackle chemical and organic contaminants in the air, most notably, Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). VOCs are gases emitted from liquids and solids and can have adverse health effects ranging from eye, nose, and throat irritation and headaches, all the way to liver damage, kidney damage, damage to the central nervous system, and potentially cancer. These VOCs most often come from paint products, automotive chemicals, pesticides, dry-cleaned linens, insect repellents, chemical cleanser,s and disinfectants.
Activated carbon filters have a very good track record of neutralizing VOCs. The pollutant organic molecules get trapped into the carbon structure's pores in a process called "adsorption". Once the VOCs are adsorbed into the microporous structure of the activated carbon, they will stay there and out of the air you breathe.
Beyond the activated carbon filter, we have yet another line of defense against harmful chemicals and pollutants. A photocatalytic filter (also known as a Titanium Dioxide filter) actually changes the chemical makeup of harmful pollutants into harmless byproducts of water and oxygen.
Once the air really has been filtered as much as it physically and chemically can be, we put our ace on the table. 120 Watts of UVC light hits the airflow with germicidal irradiation and fully degenerates the DNA of any microbes or pollutants that may be left. This is the part of the filtration process that most noticeably eliminates the microscopic bacteria and viruses that tend to spread in areas with high occupancy. The beauty of the system is that despite having more UV-C power than any other system, it is able to fully target that germicidal irradiation at the incoming airflow, not allowing any light pollution or harmful UV-C to escape and hit the occupants of the room. Safe eyes, safe skin, and a much lower incidence of communicable harmful bacteria and microorganisms.
Air ionizers have shown good results when combined with other filtration methods they ionize the air so that the pollutants in the environment are attracted to the charged particles. Once the pollutants are attached to the ions, their weight increases and they are no longer airborne. *If you are interested in some of these results, we recommend this article from New Scientist.
*It should be noted though that it is very important to turn the unit off whenever changing out the filters to prevent any UV exposure to your eyes. Safety first!

I purchased a GermAwayUV High Occupancy Wall Mountable Air Purifier and Sanitizer. Where can I order replacment filters? And the cost. How much is a replacment control for the unit?
James,
Thank you for your purchase....We do have Air Filters (Sku #201107) that do go with the Wall Mountable Air Purifiers. Cost is $49.99 for a set. Unfortunatley they are not available for purchase because we do not have them in stock at the moment. Please check back on our website within the next week or so. Once they are in stock they will be available for purchase.
For a replacement remote the best solution is to call us and we will be able to provide you with one.
