Single Pin Double Ended - 39 Watt Germicidal Water Treatment Bulb
The Atlantic Ultraviolet 05-1343-R Authentic Replacement UVC Light Bulb has a total length of 33.19" and an arc length of 30.12". The single pin double-ended 39 Watt light bulb has a rated life of 10,000 hours after which it is recommended to replace the bulb even if it continues to emit light.
The UVC bulb emits a short wavelength of 253.7nm that is capable of rendering the microorganisms in water harmless. The wavelength reacts with the genetics of the microorganism and disrupts it and prevents the organisms from reproducing. This method destroys 99.9% of harmful organisms in the water and does not alter the pH, taste, or chemistry of water in the process. This method is a better alternative to adding chemicals and their byproducts to water. This system provides protection against water contaminants such as yeast, cyst, bacteria, virus, and protozoa. This environmentally and user-friendly method is an immediate treatment process.
