Single Pin Double Ended - 75 Watt Germicidal Water Treatment Bulb
The Glasco UV 1851 Replacement UVC Light Bulb is a 75 Watt lamp bulb that is a single pin double ended water treatment bulb. The total length of the bulb is 61.22" and the arc length is 58.66". The UVC light bulb has a rated life of 10,000 hours after which CureUV highly recommends that you replace the lamp bulb even if it continues to emit light. The UVC bulb is compatible with the following system model:

The UVC light bulb has a peak output of 253.7 nm that effectively destroys the genetics of the microorganisms rendering them harmless. Pathogens such as giardia and cryptosporidium can be effectively destroyed with this method of purification. These cost effective purifiers and their lamps do not make use of chemicals and their by-products. This method of water purification does not alter the pH, taste or chemistry of water.
