UV bulbs and quartz sleeves' life spans are extremely susceptible to any water and oils on their surface. Using cleaning wipes that are less than 99.9% Isopropyl Alcohol can affect this too. Any percentage of water present in the alcohol (70% alcohol means 30% water content) will sink into the surface of your bulbs and quartz sleeves laving behind undesired residue that will shorten their working life.
This is why the 99.9% Isopropyl Alcohol wipes are the best solution for UV application cleaning.
