Light curing adhesives must be exposed to light of the proper wavelength and intensity to cure.  The UV and visible light wavelengths used to cure adhesives comprises a small portion of the complete electromagnetic spectrum shown. For the most effective cure, the spectral output of the light source used must match the adhesive pattern of light absorption
