Are UV LED flashlights safe for eyes?

Use of UV light emission for various applications is permitted in the USA. However, prolonged and direct exposure (looking into the light) to UV light is indeed harmful. That said, even though you might not typically have the flashlight on for long periods, we recommend that you wear protective glasses.
