The UVC light bulb is proven to be effective against microorganisms such as bacteria, virus, protozoa and yeast. The light bulb emits a short wavelength of 253.7nm that alters the genetics of the microorganisms and makes them incapable of reproduction. The UVC bulb provides you one year of comprehensive protection after which it is recommended that you replace the light bulb.
