Heraeus Fusion LightHammer® 10 MARK III

The LightHammer® 10 MARK III is an upgraded design for the LightHammer® 6 MARK II smart UV curing system. Just like the original system, it incorporates solid-state power supplies and internal sensors to monitor real-time system performance. Both systems have innovative microwave power and stand out thanks to their solid-state power supply, but this system incorporates numerous sensors that transform it into a complete Smart UV Curing System.

With intelligence now added to the Irradiator, the irradiator operating parameters can be measured and monitored remotely. The data obtained from the new sensors is sent to the associated LightHammer® Mark III power supply via a CAN communication. The entirety of this data can be viewed using the optional Heraeus monitoring software, Advanced Intelligent Monitoring System (AIMS®)

This software application provides real-time system performance monitoring, enhanced system diagnostics, and preventative maintenance capability. Through the use of a proprietary communication network, many of the Smart UV Curing System’s critical performance metrics can now be measured and monitored by a PC connected to the unit’s network.

Operating in the power class of 500 watts/inch (200 watts/cm), the Light Hammer 10 MARK III features two easy-to-service modular components: the microwave-powered irradiator and the solid-state power supply. Designed with an electrodeless bulb mounted in an elliptical reflector for focusing an intense strip of UV energy 53 mm (2.1 inches) below the face of the lamp, this system excels for its balance between efficient operation, superior construction and user-friendliness.
