The Ideal Horizons - Ih-5 UV Light Bulb For Germicidal Water Treatment is a single pin on both ends bulb that has a lamp length of 27.2 inches. The 32 watts germicidal UV-C bulb gives you a worry-free performance for an entire year. The germicidal lamp bulb has a long lifespan and a low mercury dosage that meets the environmental standards.
The light bulb is completely compatible with germicidal OEM water and air disinfection filters, ultraviolet purifiers and UV sanitizers. The UV lamp is thoroughly tested and has a life of up to 10,000 hours after which the germicidal UV output diminishes while the lamp may continue to emit light. The UV lamp has a total length of 61.8 inches and has a peak output of 253.7nm. This energy reacts photo-chemically with the genetics of the microorganisms and prevents them from reproducing. Studies show that UV water purification has the ability to destroy 99.9% of waterborne microorganisms.
