Our Infilco Degremont L58065 Replacement UVC Light Bulb has a total length of 61.22" and an arc length of 58.66". The UVC replacement lamp has lamp wattage of 75Watts and is constructed using ceramic. With a rated life of 10,000 hours, the UVC light bulb has a single pin double ended base style.
The UVC bulb is compatible for use with the following germicidal UVC system models:
- IDI L58065
The UVC light technology is capable of sterilizing and killing 99.9% microorganisms in water. When the light bulb releases a short wavelength of 253.7nm, it attacks the genetic composition of the microorganisms such as bacteria, virus, protozoa and yeast. This renders the microorganisms harmless and unfit for reproduction. Since this is an entirely physical process, this method does not change the pH, chemistry or taste of water. This method is safer than treating water with the help of chlorine and their byproducts.
