The Life Flo GPH357T5L/4P-Life-FLO Replacement UVC Light Bulb is a 16Watt germicidal water treatment bulb. It has a total length of 14.06" and an arc length of 10.83". The replacement bulb is made using non-ozone glass and has a base style of four pin on a single end. The UVC light bulb has a rated life of 10,000 hours after which we highly recommend that you replace the light bulb to maintain the efficiency of the system. The UVC bulb is compatible for use with the following germicidal system models:

The UVC light technology helps in sterilizing, and killing 99.9% microorganisms present in water. The UVC bulb emits a short wavelength of 253.7nm that acts on the genetic structure of the microorganisms and renders them harmless against causing harmful bacteria and microorganismss. Since this method is only a physical state, it does not alter the pH, composition and taste of water. This makes the UV light water treatment a safe method when compared to adding chemicals such as chlorine to treat water.
