The Loctite 5240 Silicone Sealant Clear Liquid - 25 ml Syringe is a non-corrosive sealant. This strong sealant works great for variety of high speed adhesion and sealing applications.

The non-corrosive, low viscosity, UV/Visible light curing silicone adhesive is designed specifically for use in the assembly of disposable medical devices, bonding, potting, sealing and coating. The silicone sealant has a cure time of 72 hours and delivers great performance with strength of 155 psi, tensile strength of 435 psi and has a maximum operating temperature is +200 F.

The UV or visible light curing, non-corrosive silicone has a very high bond strength and works well for high speed adhesion and sealing applications. The high adhesion capabilities works well for difficult-to-bond substrates.

Light curing adhesives must be exposed to light of the proper wavelength and intensity to cure.  The UV and visible light wavelengths used to cure adhesives comprises a small portion of the complete electromagnetic spectrum shown.
