This Reverse Osmosis System consists of four stages:
- STAGE 1 – Sediment Pre-Filter: Water goes through the Sediment Pre-Filter that removes large particles such as dirt, sediment, sand, and more. Pre-Filter has to be replaced every 12 months.
- STAGE 2 – Carbon GAC Pre-Filter: Then there is a carbon block that protects the Reverse Osmosis membrane from chlorine and sediment. The carbon block has to be replaced every 12 months.
- STAGE 3 – RO Membrane TFC 36 GPD: A second membrane reduces the pass of dissolved inorganics. The membrane has to be replaced every 24 months.
- STAGE 4 – Carbon GAC Post Filter: Lastly, a Post Carbon Filter ensures your drinking water is not only safe but also clarified and enhanced. The Carbon Filter has to be replaced every 12 months.
This process is possible thanks to the 3 separate reverse osmosis filters and the RO membrane that have a quick-change system with a twist-and-lock design. Easily install the PuROTwist 4000 under your kitchen sink and it will provide up to 36 gallons of enhanced and efficiently treated drinking water.
Replacement parts are sold separately.
