The UV bulb works well with OEM disinfection filters, UV sanitizers, and water purifiers. The lamp makes use of powerful UV-C light to destroy the genetics of microorganisms such as viruses, protozoa, yeasts, and other harmful pathogens in water. Studies have shown that germicidal light bulbs emit ultraviolet rays at short wavelengths, enabling thorough ultraviolet disinfection.
