The Trojan UV Max J UV Germicidal Water Treatment Lamp is a 100% equivalent replacement UV lamp For Trojan UV Technologies. The bi pin winged on a single end lamp has an estimated lifespan of 10,000 hours after which we recommend that you replace the light bulb even if it continues to emit light.

The bi pin base helps in better water purification. The light bulb is completely compatible with germicidal OEM water and air disinfection filters, ultraviolet purifiers and UV sanitizers. The light bulb emits a peak output of 254 nm, an energy that reacts photo-chemically with the genetics of the microorganisms and prevents them from reproducing. Studies show that UV water purification has the ability to destroy 99.9% of waterborne microorganisms.

The germicidal water treatment bulb comes with a shatterproof coating that protects the lamp during damage. The coating also keeps the lamp glass from falling into the unit. This results in easy disposal of glass if it shatters and renders it easy to operate the system. The UV lamp starts instantly and makes use of a coil filament that operates hot.
