The UV PhotoMax PTX-1224F Dual Spectrum Germicidal UV Lamp is 100% equivalent for UV Lamp Model AS-IH-1013 and is compatible with UV PhotoMax Systems, Signature Series UVP-3000.

The lamp has a life of 10,000 hours after which we recommend that you replace the light bulb even if it continues to emit light.

Since the light bulbs are intended to destroy microorganisms it is necessary to schedule replacement of the bulbs annually to ensure efficiency of the system. Made in the USA, these high-quality lamps has a peak UV output of 254nm that help in reacting with the genetics of microorganisms such as spores, virus, bacteria and other pathogens. 

The germicidal water treatment bulb comes with a shatterproof coating that protects the lamp during damage. The coating also keeps the lamp glass from falling into the unit.
