The Viqua IHS12-D4 UVC Light Bulb is a 40-watt lamp that has a length of 15.32 inches and is made using ceramic as its base. With a four-pin on a barrier, extended round base on a single end, the lamp bulb has an average lifespan of 10,000 hours after which it is recommended that you replace the lamp bulb.

The UVC germicidal bulb is best used to purify air and water. The fixture is high on quality and has a long lifespan with low mercury dosage to meet environmental demands. UVC emission sanitizes the microorganisms and prevents them from multiplying. This method of sterilizing water is a purely physical process and does not alter the chemistry, pH, or taste of water.
